I’m a multi-discipline, mixed media artist, author, and Vtuber living in Upstate New York.
Art and words have been with me since I was little, surrounding me and helping me learn to cope with the world. It’s what led me to study art and writing further at Wells College.
Through study at Wells and going abroad to DWCLA I was able to expand on my knowledge on one of my biggest influencers: modern Japanese media. This is when I pin pointed Night School Life and how I was going to tackle such a big project. Japanese pop media and anime has been doing something right for their niche audiences that we in the West are only starting to notice and use: the connection characters have to each other despite the world around them and how that affects us as the consumers.
Through my different types of art and genres of literature, I show realistic relationships that stabilize and ground the reader while also creating an immersive experience. I work to do for others what the writers and artists I grew up with did for me: I want to help people of all ages feel like they are connected in this world in a way that only the arts can give us.
